When the Wrong Photo Was Shared
An adult notices the unapproved draft entered the family gallery. Help the group stop resharing, tell the organizer and make a repair plan without blaming a child.
Start mission
What we practice
- Tell a trusted adult when a photo was shared without permission or with private details.
- Do not download, forward or repeatedly open the picture.
- Let adults remove, report and contact the right people while supporting the child affected.
Rehearse a Calm Photo-Repair Plan
Give the child one simple reporting step while adults keep responsibility for removal, reporting and follow-up.
What is Milo’s one job? Which parts belong to the adults?
1. Use paper cards and a fictional photo mistake; do not use a real child image. 2. Practice the child telling a trusted adult without downloading, forwarding or investigating. Accept words, pointing or handing over a card. 3. Adult says: “Thank you for telling me. This is not your fault. I will handle the report and tell you what happens next.” Follow the relevant service and organization process in a real incident. Preserve evidence only when an appropriate adult or authority advises it; do not ask a child to keep viewing harmful content.
