We Both Want It
One shared blue crane, two builders. Help Milo and Ari agree on turns, test their plan and change it with support.
Start mission
What we practice
- Communicate both wants before moving a shared toy.
- Agree on a clear turn and handover both people can use.
- Check the plan and ask for support or choose another activity.
Make a Turn Plan You Can Change
Practice with a shared household object rather than taking a child’s treasured possession.
How will we know a turn ends? What if the plan is confusing or feels unfair?
1. Choose a shared spoon and two blocks or paper loads. Let the child name jobs with words, signs or pointing. 2. Agree on who starts and an ending such as one lift. Try it; do not impose an unannounced timer or endless waiting. 3. Ask whether it worked for both. Model a change, break or separate jobs. Adults support fair access when agreements are ignored; children need not enforce them alone. No forced lending of personal belongings. Anyone can skip or stop.
