One Magnifier, Two Curious Friends
Milo and Nova both want a closer look at a leaf, but there is only one magnifier. Help them find a way to play together.
Start mission
What we practice
- Say what you want and ask what your friend thinks.
- Agree on a clear way to take turns.
- Keep your agreement or ask before changing the plan.
Try together: Five minutes of taking turns
Choose one object you both want to use: a stamp, a toy car or a coloured pencil.
How did waiting feel? What might make waiting easier?
Each person says what they want to do. Agree when to swap, such as after one stamp or one drawing. Play a few turns. If a turn feels too short or too long, discuss a new plan. If your child is not ready to take turns, choose another object or pause. Practise speaking up, listening and keeping an agreement.
