Let’s Make It Right
Milo’s crane bumps Ari’s bridge. Practice stopping, listening to the impact and offering repair Ari can accept or decline.
Start mission
What we practice
- Stop an action that affected someone and check if help is needed.
- Listen and name the impact without excuses.
- Offer specific repair, respect space and involve a grown-up when needed.
Repair Without Forcing Forgiveness
Model naming your own impact and offering practical help while accepting the other person’s response.
What changed for Ari? What help did she choose? What could Milo do if words are hard?
1. Use two toys and three blocks. Keep the bump pretend or gently move a block yourself. Check comfort; the child may watch or skip. 2. Model “I moved your work. What would help?” The other toy may ask for space, decline or request one action. No forced hug, eye contact, apology performance or forgiveness. 3. With permission, try the repair and a next-time plan. Adults handle injuries, repeated harm and unsafe behavior; a child need not manage these alone. Do not reenact bullying or invite personal disclosures. Anyone may pause.
