Choose a Plan Together
The team has enough cardboard for one big structure. Help them name what matters, test options and choose a plan everyone is willing to try.
Start mission
What we practice
- Separate a shared goal from one favorite design.
- Generate or test more than one workable option.
- Choose a reversible plan without forcing everyone to like it.
Make a Small, Reversible Decision
Practice choosing together with pretend materials and a decision that is easy to change.
Why did the tiny models help more than arguing? What can a group say when the chosen plan is workable but not everyone’s favorite?
1. Pick a low-stakes goal, such as making a paper bed for a toy. 2. Each person names one must-have using words, pictures or pointing. 3. Sketch two options, compare them and choose one short trial. Say clearly whether the other idea is saved, changed or dropped. Do not manufacture a conflict, demand agreement or promise materials you cannot provide.
